What is MasterCard SecureCode and Verified by Visa?

All payments made through MasterCard or Visa on this website are done so through the MasterCard Securecode andVerified by Visa security programs. These programs have been implemented to provide credit card holders with more security when purchasing online. When an item is purchased through a traditional store using a credit card the merchant requires a signature on the receipt of the purchase to verify that the credit card being used is in fact the property of the credit card holder. With electronic businesses, this becomes difficult as it is sometimes hard to receive a signed receipt upon purchase.
